Genesis 3:8. Don't Try to Hide From God

Genesis 3:8  “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.”

The presence of the Lord is terrible to the guilty. His word alone is enough to render all self-justification worthless. At the sound of His voice, the guilty pair scuttles away to hide themselves among the trees.

If your instinct is to tune out or run away and hide when you hear the Word of God, you are overdue for a soul inventory. What guilty secrets of your past have separated you from Your Creator, the Source of life, happiness and hope?

God is calling to you today. He has come down looking for you as the sun is about to set on this world. Will you insist on hiding yourself away or will you come to the light before it is forever too late?
