Genesis 1:10 “And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.”
The earth and the seas at this point were unfinished and empty, yet God pronounced them good. He was setting up the framework for even better things to come. So too in your life, you may still feel empty and incomplete, but if you are awake to the work of God, you will see how He has been present and active in your life, working to prepare you to receive what He longs to give. Just as life could not exist on this planet without the preparatory organization and provision, so spiritual life cannot exist in your soul without preparation and provision. Don’t despise the bare bones, the frame and structure, the roughing in of wet and dry. Believe, submit, wait.
